It is anticipated that the UK will need between 253,000 and 661,000 extra electric vehicle (EV) charging points by 2035. While Part S of the Building Regulations, which covers the infrastructure for the charging of EVs, came into force in 2022, for developers the delivery of this presents a number of challenges both in terms of construction and future management.

Beach toy library expansion in Weymouth

Litter Free Dorset have partnered with Weymouth Town Council and Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project to expand their beach toy library, with two additional locations on the busy Weymouth Seafront just in time for the start of summer holidays. The toy library allows visitors to borrow and reuse toys for free, meaning visitors save money, help reduce waste and stop plastic entering our oceans.
