Dorset Museum & Art Gallery's Thomas Hardy Collection Receives Prestigious Arts Council Designation

Dorset Museum & Art Gallery is delighted to announce that its Thomas Hardy Collection has been awarded Arts Council England (ACE) Designation status. This prestigious recognition acknowledges the collection's outstanding significance and its vital importance to national cultural heritage.

‘Colour and Coast’ at Durlston Country Park 

From Tuesday 21st July until Tuesday 4th August, Durlston Country Park will be hosting an exploration of colour through Shelley Perry’s ‘Colour and Coast’ exhibition, in their Fine Foundation Gallery. Painting with her hands, local artist Shelley creates Dorset coastal scenes alongside colour studies inviting viewers to consider colour as both subject and landscape. The exhibition will be open daily from 10.30am – 4.30pm and is free to enter. 

On July 8, the Royal College of Paramedics, the professional body for paramedics and the ambulance profession in the UK will come together with more than 160 global paramedic associations, higher education institutions and affiliated organisations to highlight the different ways paramedics are advancing practice - from improving patient care and embracing digital technologies, to demonstrating organisational, service and clinical integration.
