CoppaFeel’s Cornish Hilly Hundred is back and celebrating its tenth birthday

After a four-year hiatus, the epic two-day cycling challenge, Hilly Hundred is back with a bang for its tenth birthday. This September (Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd), participants will yet again don their fabulously fancy-dress costumes to brave the elements and take on the gruelling hills of Cornwall in aid of breast cancer education charity, CoppaFeel!

Beach toy library expansion in Weymouth

Litter Free Dorset have partnered with Weymouth Town Council and Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project to expand their beach toy library, with two additional locations on the busy Weymouth Seafront just in time for the start of summer holidays. The toy library allows visitors to borrow and reuse toys for free, meaning visitors save money, help reduce waste and stop plastic entering our oceans.

Walking Words

Bristol Stanza Group and Lyra Festival present 'Walking Words'. Both a book and a digital walking trail, accessible through a mobile app where spoken versions of the poems are triggered on your mobile phone as a participant walks past the specific poem sites. The book, published by Bristol Books is based on the poems and is on sale throughout the Lyra annual Bristol Poetry Festival, which this year runs from April 22 to May 1.
