Cornwall-based solar PV firm Natural Generation acquired by Premier Electrical Group
Northern Ireland solar energy specialist Premier Electrical Group has today announced a significant milestone in its ambitious growth plans with the completion of a deal to acquire Natural Generation, a solar energy solutions provider in Cornwall, England.
Based in Ballynahinch, Premier Electrical Group provides professional solar and electrical solutions across Northern Ireland for homes and businesses. The company specialises in the design, supply, and installation of solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, and more across the domestic, commercial, and agricultural sectors.
Natural Generation, which has its headquarters in Perranporth, similarly helps homes and businesses in Cornwall, Devon and the South West of England to harness renewable energy with solar panels and battery storage.
The acquisition of Natural Generation, for an undisclosed price, will create a combined business with almost 50 staff which offers a range of renewable energy solutions.
Premier Electrical Group has ambitious plans to almost double its annual turnover to £15m in the next two to three years through the expansion of its footprint in Great Britain and continued growth in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The business has seen significant growth in the past five years, with demand for its smart, sustainable solar energy solutions and expert advice increasing as more businesses, farmers, schools and homeowners seek to reduce their electricity bills, lower emissions, and take control of their energy.
To manage this growth, Premier Electrical Group is actively recruiting and is currently expanding its office in Ballynahinch to create facilities for up to 10 new staff.
