Christmas invitation from Westerleigh Group’s crematoria

Anyone missing a loved one during the festive season is warmly invited to attend their nearest Westerleigh Group crematorium’s Christmas carol and memorial service for some comfort and company.

Seasonal services are taking place at Aberystwyth, Langstone Vale, Llanelli, Sirhowy Valley, Forest of Dean, The Vale, New Forest, North Wiltshire, Sedgemoor, Test Valley, Torbay, Treswithian Downs, Wessex Vale, West Wiltshire and Westerleigh crematoria between December 3 and 19.

Westerleigh Group is one of the UK’s largest independent owners and operators of crematoria and cemeteries, with 42 sites in England, Scotland, and Wales, and trusted by more families than any other provider to deliver funerals for their loved ones.

All its crematoria are set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance and cemeteries which provide peaceful places for people to visit and reflect, while benefitting from exceptional care and support from its teams.

For those unable to attend in person, many crematoria are offering people the chance to view the service online, either as a live or ‘watch again’ option, available for 28 days after the date of the service.

Debbie Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Westerleigh Group, said: “Whether people are living in, working in or just visiting, the communities surrounding our crematoria, the doors are open for anyone and everyone to join us for our popular seasonal services.

“The run-up to Christmas is a time when families and friends are foremost in our minds, possibly more than any other time of the year, and that means the loss of a loved one can be felt even more.

“Our services bring people together in our warm and welcoming chapels, in the company of others who are also remembering and honouring those they have lost.”

The specific dates and arrangements for each service varies from site to site, so to find out what is going on at your nearest Westerleigh Group crematorium – and when – please check its own website, which will also have full details of how to access the carol and memorial services online, where available.
