Christmas invitation from Westerleigh Cemetery & Crematorium
Anyone missing a loved one during the festive season is invited to join Westerleigh Cemetery & Crematorium’s Christmas carol and memorial services for some comfort and company.
Whether they are living in – or visiting – the communities around the crematorium, they are welcome to join the events, which take place on Wednesday 3 December, at 3pm and 6.30pm - no advance booking is required.
During both services, visitors will be able to write personal messages onto tags for hanging on the crematorium’s Christmas tree and also use the site’s white memorial post box for ‘sending’ a Christmas card to their loved one.
For those unable to attend in person, the evening service is being streamed live online and can be viewed for several weeks after.

“We know that during this time of year the loss of a loved one can be particularly poignant. Our service is a meaningful way to bring people together in leading up to Christmas and finding comfort in remembering their loved one in company with others.”
Those who are unable to attend in person but who would like to watch the evening service online can watch it by visiting: https://christmas.obitus.com, and then inputting the user name ‘Westerleigh’ and the password ‘robin’.
The event will be available to see on the ‘watch again’ service using the same link and log-in details as above, for 28 days from Friday 5 December.
