Independent accountancy practice Corrigan has another new addition to its team in the shape of senior tax manager Sam Wood.

With over a decade of experience in accountancy and tax, Sam joins Corrigan from a larger regional practice. He advises a wide portfolio of businesses in different sectors, specialising in the fields of R&D tax relief, advisory reports, grant applications and HMRC enquiry support services.

Sam’s appointment marks the latest stage of Corrigan’s ongoing investment in its team as it continues to expand its services to meet increasing demand in Bristol and across the South West.

Pete Edwards, tax partner at Corrigan, said: “Having just recently welcomed audit partner David Wright to the firm, we are now delighted to have Sam join the team.

“He has built a strong reputation for guiding business owners and leadership teams through complex tax and financial issues, particularly where R&D reliefs are concerned.”

Since its launch in 2009, Corrigan has earned a reputation as a trusted adviser to some of the South West’s most dynamic businesses, supporting hundreds of clients to grow their enterprises.
