100’s of car clubs to attend this year’s Castle Combe Circuit Forge Motorsport Action Day

100’s of car clubs to attend this year’s Castle Combe Circuit Forge Motorsport Action Day

With hundreds of cars of all makes and models on display at the Forge Motorsport Action Day, Castle Combe Circuit looks forward to welcoming thousands of visitors through its gates to this prevalent action day on Saturday 2nd September.

Gloucester-based Forge Motorsport manufactures and distributes performance parts and motorsport products worldwide, and the action day, to which they once again put their name, very much reflects what Forge is all about. So, expect to see tuned and modified cars of all sorts taking to the track and on display around the circuit.

Gates will open to the public at 8 am, and activities include car displays from various car clubs attending, action on the track, drifting demonstrations and a trade village.

Advanced tickets cost just £20 and can be bought here. As always, children aged 16 or under can attend for free.

One of the highlights of the action day is the Bristol Detailing Supplies Show and Shine, where visitors will find a host of exceptionally-prepared exotica, all competing for one of the coveted awards, and as this action day is open to cars of all makes and models, finding just one winner is going to be difficult for the judges.

For drivers who want to display their cars at this event to the thousands of visitors who will attend as part of a club, see here. For those wishing to visit as an individual display, see here.

One of the main features of the day is the chance for those attending the event or displaying their vehicles to get out on track and lap the challenging Castle Combe circuit at a pace that suits them. Drivers can either participate in one of the many fast-laps track sessions or, for those who prefer a gentler pace, in one of the Parade lap sessions throughout the day.

Advance ticket sales will close on Monday, 28th August, but tickets can still be bought on the day at the venue for £25. Track sessions are only available to those who hold valid admission tickets or are part of a club or other display. They can be bought on the day or purchased in advance through the website.  www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk
