Clarke Willmott celebrates opening of new Bristol office

A celebration has been held at the new Bristol office of Clarke Willmott LLP, following the firm’s move to the heart of the Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, from Bath Street.

Three-hundred Bristol colleagues moved to the state-of-the-art Assembly Building C earlier this year, and have been settling into the space, designed specifically to compliment the firm’s hybrid working strategy.

Occupying a prime location on Bristol’s Floating Harbour, Clarke Willmott has taken the top two floors of the new 11-storey grade A space.

The grand opening event was attended by staff from all seven regional offices as well as clients, contacts and suppliers.

The launch event showcased Clarke Willmott's commitment to the region with guests being treated to a tour of the new facilities, followed by words from Head of the Bristol office, Alex Jakubowski who detailed the firm's future plans.

Clarke Willmott CEO, Peter Swinburn, said: “Our new Bristol office is a cornerstone in Clarke Willmott’s long-term plans, playing a particularly vital role in our commitment to sustainability.

“It is fantastic to be able to showcase our new space to wider colleagues and contacts, especially as we have such impressive, almost panoramic, views of Bristol and the Floating Harbour.

“This launch event marks an exciting time for Clarke Willmott as we continue to develop our property portfolio. Last year we enhanced our Birmingham offering with a new purpose-built office in Colmore Row, as well as unveiling a major refurbishment of our Taunton office, and next month we will also be opening our new Cardiff office in Callaghan Square.”

Assembly Building C has been given an energy efficiency rating of A which will help the firm deliver on its newly-verified commitment to achieving net zero by 2040.

The electricity supply is also 100 percent renewable, thanks to Clarke Willmott’s use of the Bristol Heat Network, an innovative underground network which reduces carbon emissions by delivering low-carbon heat and energy throughout the city.

Clarke Willmott is a national law firm with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton. For further information visit www.clarkewillmott.com
